3. Print Instructions

General Print Settings

Use 0.2mm STRUCTURAL profile in PrusaSlicer:

  • 0.2mm layer height
  • NO SUPPORTS
  • 0.4mm nozzle
  • 15% infill
  • Minimum 2 perimeters
  • PETG is recommended (PLA works too)

See part specific settings:

Back-roller, Mini-roller
Set “Scarf joint placement” to: “Everywhere” in PrusaSlicer. Important. Spools may get stuck on seams if you do not use this setting. 

Front-roller-sleeve
Use TPU material.

Lever-gear

Set "Perimeters" to 5 (stiffens the part).

ℹ️ Each print file tells you how many of each part you need to print. 

Printer setup parts & settings
CORE One

Printed parts

The CORE One needs special parts for mounting the MMU3 and Buffer Unit to the top of the CORE One. These parts are:

  • MMU-bracket (1x)
  • Rewindr-bracket (2x)
  • LGB-Bowden-bend (1x)
  • PTFE-clamp (1x)
  • Panel-plug (1x)
  • Panel-plug-nut (1x)
  • Slider (2x)
  • Vent-handle (1x)
  • R-Side-panel (1x)
  • L-Side-panel (1x)

Print settings

R-Side-panel, L-Side-panel
Multi-colored print. The slicer will split the parts into different colors once imported.

MK4/MK3

Printed parts

The MK4/MK3 setup needs parts for mounting the Buffer Unit beside the printer. These parts are:

  • PTFE-clamp (3x)
  • R-Side-panel (1x)
  • L-Side-panel (1x)

Multi-colored print. The slicer will split the parts into different colors once imported.

Prusa Enclosure

Printed parts

The Prusa Enclosure setup needs parts for mounting the Buffer Unit on top of the enclosure. These parts are:

  • PTFE-clamp (3x)
  • R-Side-panel (1x)
  • L-Side-panel (1x)

COREBOXX

The COREBOXX setup needs parts for mounting the Buffer Unit inside the enclosure. These parts are:

  • R-Bracket (1x)
  • L-Bracket (1x)
  • R-Side-panel (1x)
  • L-Side-panel (1x)
