Hi! I'm Ludvig (G) Broomé, founder and single owner of LGB Engineering. 3D-printing is a huge passion of mine, and I have been designing 3D-printed parts for over 8 years. I love designs that are simple, easy-to-use and good looking. I hoped to achieve just this with Rewindr, a gravity powered rewindable spool holder designed for the Prusa MMU3. 

The previous version of the Rewindr called the "Buffer Unit" was released on 12 March 2025. I was initially aiming to sell 100 units the first year, but I was fortunate enough to surpass that goal in a couple of weeks. The success of the Buffer Unit convinced me to start this actual business and form LGB Engineering.

Since then, the product has been transformed into the Rewindr - a complete revision of the Buffer Unit. Also known as version 'A5', the update improves on pretty every aspect of the design.

I continue to improve Rewindr with feedback from the community — every suggestion, bug report, or idea helps shape what comes next. A special thanks goes out to everyone who helped beta test the design. Your time, insight, and willingness to experiment have been a huge part of making this product what it is today.
